- Wow, the family that Kinsey comes from definitely harbors some serious malfunctions (and cruelty). I'm so happy that this author added another book to this series since this is one of my favorites. Kinsey finds his mate, Jimmy, and they made a great pair (and hot). Jimmy stood by Kinsey, and was very understanding about learning that he was a gargoyle. The ending was awesome, the plot held my attention and I'm excitedly waiting for more. =)
- What a win for the good guys in this book. Even though these characters were completely unknown to me they were both so loveable it was worth every minute.
- I love visiting the gargoyles and their partners. This was a very beautiful, sweet and motivational book. Charlie Richards never disappoints.

- Kinsey was from a group that was bigoted and brutal and would not honor fated mates. He found his mate Jimmy, a human and fought for himself and the rest to have a new leader.
